NAFFCO conducts the WORLD’S FIRST NFPA 92 Seminar

Renowned fire protection specialist, NAFFCO in collaboration with the best standards organization, NFPA has successfully conducted the world’s first ever NFPA 92 Smoke Control Training Course on 28th February – 1st March 2016 at Amwaj Rotana Hotel, JBR, Dubai – UAE.

NFPA 92 standard protects life and reduces property loss by establishing requirements for the design, installation, and testing of smoke control systems used to mitigate the impact of smoke from fire.

A total of 35 engineering consultants from all over UAE and GCC eagerly participated in the first batch of NFPA 92, which “allowed them the ability to apply the standard for design, installation, acceptance testing, operations, on-going and periodic testing of smoke control systems,” explained Tom Parrish, the course Instructor.

“We at NAFFCO are passionate about providing complete and reliable fire protection solutions to end-users to make the world a safer place. To reach this vision, we have put a plan back in 2006 to collaborate with the best standards organization, which is NFPA. And now, we proudly introduce for the first time in the world, NFPA 92 Smoke Control Systems Training course.” said Eng. Khalid Al Khatib, NAFFCO CEO.
